WHAT TO WEAR FOR WINTER HIKES & SNOWSHOEING

OWJ HIKING NEWS

SNOWSHOEING

For our winter snow hikes and snowshoeing in Utah, you'll need insulated SNOW BOOTS; your feet will get very cold in regular hiking shoes and boots.  Avoid snow boots with heals.

SNOW HIKING, we recommend that you bring ICE CLEATS CRAMPONS, (spikes), to attach to your snow boots and bring adjustable snowshoe poles.

SNOWSHOEING, make sure you bring poles with baskets.
